Notion Template for Sharing Household Chores

A few years ago, I asked myself: Did I change this kid’s sheets last week or was it the other kid’s sheet two weeks ago? [Judge me if you want, but I think every two weeks to change their sheets is a nice balance between hygiene and sanity]

Instead of having to rely on my memory, I wondered if Notion could help. As with most software tools, I start with the low-tech offline version first and asked myself how often do I want to do a certain chore. Making the kids lunches needed to happen daily, but a thorough vacuum session could wait a week.

Once I documented these, I realized that there was a communication challenge and I needed to bridge stakeholders into the process to not double-up the work.
